I believe it's important to LISTEN and HEAR what you are saying as you share your situation(s) and emotions. I can help you sift through all of the "junk" and facilitate new revelations that can change your outlook and your life. I am a Christ-follower and can explore that influence as little or as much as you desire. I will be whatever you need as you explore and develop a refreshed sense of YOU in your healing. What to expect
Aligned Grace Counseling Services provides online mental health therapy services to clients across Texas. Using a variety of theoretical approaches, I will ask questions to best understand your situation and goals for therapy. I view the therapeutic relationship as an equal partnership whereby I help navigate your exploration through choices, perspectives, and deeper understanding. Most sessions will culminate in one or more activities for you to practice between sessions. You will also be able to reach out by messaging for additional support.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and other theoretical influences to treat anxiety/panic disorders, depression, grief, PTSD, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem and self-image, career changes, and spiritual challenges.

MS in Educational Psychology
Baylor University
I graduated from Baylor University in 1985 with a Bachelor's degree in Speech & Language Pathology and Special Education. I then returned to Baylor to complete my Master's degree in Educational Psychology with certifications as a School Counselor (K-12) and a Licensed Professional Counselor.
1995-2021
I served as a School Counselor and an LPC for various school districts in the Waco, Texas area until retirement in 2021. I provided direct services, consultation, and direction to teachers, administrators, students, and families.
2021-present
I have served over 380 clients presenting a variety of issues and concerns through BetterHelp.com.

Private Pay

My session rate is $125 per session. I also charge an additional fee for requested documentation such as letters for ESAs or FMLA.
Insurance

This may be the option for you if you have benefits through Cigna, Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, or United Healthcare.
I am in the process of being vetted by these insurance companies and should be ready to accept insurance by August 15th.
Sliding Scale
Through Headway or Venmo
I use a sliding scale for clients who are economically disadvantaged and/or living on a limited income. Decisions regarding sliding scale qualification are made on a case-by-case basis.
